Hi All just wondering what you think about the use of the word “patient” to describe people who live with a kidney condition? It seems inappropriate to me as it defines someone entirely in terms of their health problem when each is a multi-faceted individual and their health is only one part of who and what they are. We are encourged to use “person with a kidney condition” instead but this can be cumbersome. What do you think?
